Marcus Rashford is the coming man for Manchester United, he once again proved to be prolific smashing a four minute brace against Reading.
The question is with the likes of Anthony Martial and Zlatan Ibrahimovic ahead of him at Old Trafford, would a move to a different Premier League side benefit the six cap England international?
The England striker has been played out of position wide on the left wing offering him less of chance at scoring.
It is arguable that a move to a less well known, wealthy club would give the prolific youngster some much needed time playing in his favoured central role.
One such squad that is seriously struggling for goals is Southampton with the joint second lowest goals tally, a loan move for Rashford could be a considered a very real option although with Mourinho already looking to offload Memphis Depay it maybe unlikely a loan deal could be struck without Manchester United making a move for another forward this month.
Burnley, West Bromwich Albion and Watford are also struggling to score but could with more goals reasonably target Europa League qualification. A loan move to any of these clubs would be considered a coup for many of the clubs and would almost certainly help Rashford build his profile.
It is really a question of Mourinho’s long term plan for the young talent but it would be reasonable to suggest that should Marcus Rashford gain more time in his favoured strike role and more goals, he could well be the striker England are looking for.
